White List our Emails
How to White-list our Emails?
The Franchise Trainer™ wants to help make sure your emails are getting delivered to you! In order to help ensure proper delivery of emails to your inbox, you can add senders of legitimate emails to your Whitelist, also called the Approved or Safe Sender list. Check below to view instructions on how to do whitelist emails for several popular Internet Service Providers and email companies.
This guide is designed to help you keep emails from being moved to the spam folder.
Gmail
To ensure that you receive emails in your inbox, you can add the email address to your contact list. If one of our mails has been moved to the spam folder, you can mark it “Not Spam” to whitelist it.
- Open the email.
- Click on More Options in the upper right hand corner of the message.
- Click on Add Sender to Contacts List in the header of the email.
- A confirmation message will be displayed above the email.
Mac Mail
- Open the email
- Right-click the sender’s email address
- Click Add to contacts in the short-cut menu
- Click Save and Close
Microsoft Outlook 2003
- Open the email
- Select Actions on the toolbar
- Select Junk Email from the drop-down menu
- Select Add sender to Safe Senders List
- Verify that our contact information is correct and click Ok
Microsoft Outlook 2007
- Open the email
- Click Options on the Tools menu
- On the Preferences tab, under Email, click Junk E-mail
- Select Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab and click add
- Enter the email address of the contact and click Ok
Microsoft Outlook 2010
- Click the Home tab.
- Click Junk.
- Click Junk E-mail Options.
- Click Safe Senders.
- Click Add.
- Enter [wlemail] and additional information if you wish.
- Click OK to finish.
Window Live Hotmail
Adding to the Address Book doesn’t automatically add you to the Safe Sender list; you must mark the sender as Safe.
- Open the email
- Click on the Mark as Safe link
Microsoft Outlook Express 6+
- Open the email
- Left-click the sender icon, or right click the sender’s name
- Click Add to contact
- Click Save and close
Yahoo!
- Open your Yahoo mailbox.
- Select Options from the top menu > Mail Options > Filters > Add Filter.
- Select Filters.
- Click “Add Filter”.
- In the top row, labelled From Header, select contains from the pull down menu. Enter the address in the text box next to the pull down menu.
- Example: You can either give a specific email address or use @xxxxx.com or *xxxxx.com to whitelist the domain (replace the xxxxx with the domain name).
- Move down to the bottom where there is the option Move the message to. Select Inbox from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Add Filter button once again.
