Marwan has more than 23 years of extensive training and consultancy experience in business development, finance, and marketing for small and medium enterprises.
Having both the technical background of mechanical engineering and business management as an MBA holder in marketing and finance, Marwan headed the Franchise Sector Support Program at the Social Fund for Development (SFD) in Egypt which was funded by African Development Bank, with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), to develop the franchise industry and improve the franchise culture amongst Egyptian SMEs.
Marwan is the Founder of Biznex , the International Franchise and Business Exhibition which generated business deals close to US $50M and the founder of the “Egypt Retail Summit” the only conference which brings together international retailers to meet with major Egyptians business players and key investors to explore new franchise and business opportunities.
