DFAI is a comprehensive, impact-driven franchise stimulus with the purpose of supporting MSME businesses.
Starting with a nationwide mapping of the franchise ecosystem, DFAI aims at identifying the most suitable franchise formats for long-term, and sustainable franchise growth in a country.
The initiative focuses on small, micro and Nano Franchise™ for both domestic & inward product and service-oriented innovative, and non-displacing franchise brands.
The Franchise Trainer™ involvement in the initiative allows for the transfer of knowhow, education, scale-up, and skill development of entrepreneurs, franchisors, franchisees, and government & private sectors, and franchise suppliers.
By means of education and capacity-building, the initiative aspires to support job creation plans, and to grow the number of low start-up franchise businesses.
A fully integrated, resourceful, interactive, and content-rich foundation of multimedia will be designed to become a major instrument in supporting all parties concerned.
Such foundation provides valuable information on market reviews, insights and views from industry leaders, franchise events, franchise & entrepreneurial success stories, results of research and surveys, as well as franchise educational material.
As an added value to the initiative, and through franchise system development techniques, scale-up programs will be provided to qualified local franchisors and master franchisees to provide them with the tools necessary for franchise business development and expansion.
The initiative also includes scalable milestones and deliverables for creative schemes of employment generation, franchise career advancement tools, and incentives to reward outstanding performance of franchisors, franchisees, and support service providers.
“Sustainable development is the pathway to the future we want for all. It offers a framework to generate economic growth, achieve social justice, exercise environmental stewardship and strengthen governance.”
